Competition: Media ethics video
Deadline: 25 august 2012

CIME is looking for enthusiastic contestants to create CIME's new media ethics short video to stream across our network and the wider media world.

The 2012 winner video is expected to:
 
express visually what ethical journalism means
spark conversation among a large audience concerning an ethical topic
make people watch something more than once
make your friends and social community enjoy learning about media ethics.

Rules:

1. Create a short video no longer than 1 minute (max. 100 mb)

2. The video must cover or refer to one of the following topics:

    Media ethics’ evolution against the new technology and new media
    Corruption/ bribe in the newsroom
    The role of journalists in the society
    Media- politics- business relations
    Verifiability of sources
    Traditional journalism vs. citizen journalism


3. Send us your video via an online link to info@cimethics.org with your full name, country of residence, and a sentence about your initial idea.

4. The original of the winner video will need to be sent to CIME.

5. The participants are allowed to use the CIME logo in their actually submitted video without tarnishing CIME’s name or reputation.

6. Please note that the language of any written text or audio should be English.
